§1General Provisions

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set out the rules for the provision of services by electronic means through the PaidFor.io website (the "Service") and the conditions of its use by Users and Companies. The Terms are made available free of charge in a manner that allows them to be obtained, reproduced and stored.

The Service is owned and operated by the Operator identified above. The Operator can be contacted at kontakt@paidfor.io.

By using the Service you accept these Terms. Using the Service requires a device with Internet access, an up-to-date web browser and an active e-mail address; certain features require a working webcam.

§2Definitions

Service
the PaidFor.io online platform together with its related subpages and features.
Operator
the entity operating the Service, identified at the beginning of these Terms.
User (Participant)
an adult natural person who registers with the Service in order to devote their attention to Companies' offers for a fee.
Company (Sponsor)
an entrepreneur that commissions outreach to Users and funds their reward for attention.
Attention Session
a structured, usually 30-minute review by the User of a Company's offer (an interactive recording: slides, narration, questions) together with the provision of honest feedback.
Overt Task
an unambiguously described scope of activities whose completion is a condition for payment of the Reward (e.g. viewing the material and answering questions).
Reward
the amount due to the User for completing the Overt Task, known in advance before the Session begins.
Waitlist
the list of persons waiting for the launch of the Service's full functionality, which can be joined via the registration form.

§3Type and Scope of Services

At the current stage, the Service provides free of charge: a presentation of the operating model, sign-up to the Waitlist, and registration of a User profile and submission of a Company. Ultimately, the Service will match Companies with Users and act as an intermediary in organising and settling Attention Sessions.

PaidFor.io is an intermediary that organises Attention Sessions and their settlement. The Operator is not a party to any purchasing decisions that may be made after a Session and does not guarantee any commercial outcome of a Session.

The essence of the model. The Reward is due solely for completing the Overt Task (devoting attention and providing honest feedback) — never for a positive opinion, booking a meeting or making a purchase. "No, thank you" is paid just as much as any other honest answer.

§4Conditions of Use

Only an adult natural person with full legal capacity may be a User. A Company may only be an entrepreneur within the meaning of applicable law.

The User undertakes to provide true, current and complete information and not to share their account with third parties. It is prohibited to supply unlawful content, to use the Service in a manner that infringes the law or the rights of third parties, or to take actions that disrupt the operation of the Service.

§5Registration and Account

Registration takes place via a form (an account may be created by e-mail registration or by signing in with an identity provider, e.g. LinkedIn). During registration the User provides, among other things, their first name, surname, e-mail address, phone number, company, position, areas of interest, level of influence on decisions, and expected Reward per Session. A Company provides its business details, a product description, a target audience profile and a proposed rate.

Providing this information is voluntary but necessary to use the relevant features of the Service. The User and the Company may request deletion of their account at any time by contacting the Operator.

§6Attention Session Rules

The Company prepares the offer material and the Overt Task. A User who accepts an Invitation reviews the material and completes the Task within the designated time. The Company states the specific rate and the scope of the Task in each Invitation before it is accepted.

Further contact between the Company and the User after a Session is possible only with the User's express, separate consent (opt-in). The absence of such consent does not affect the Reward due.

§7Reward and Payments

The Reward for a Session is known to the User in advance. Payment is made after confirmation that the Overt Task has been properly completed, within the time and in the manner indicated in the Service or in the Invitation.

The Company funds the Users' Rewards as well as the Operator's fee for organising the campaign. Detailed commercial terms (including the full campaign pricing) are agreed by the Operator individually with the Company. Amounts indicated in the Service are indicative unless expressly stated otherwise.

The Reward is settled, according to the option indicated for the Session: on the basis of an invoice issued by a User conducting business activity, or on the basis of a civil-law contract concluded with the Operator — in which case the Operator performs the withholding agent obligations arising under applicable law. Otherwise, responsibility for the User's own public-law settlements rests with the User, unless mandatory provisions of law provide otherwise.

§8Identity Verification and Attention Integrity

In order to confirm genuine engagement, a Session may use the User's webcam — solely as a real-time preview confirming presence and identity; the camera feed is not recorded, captured or stored and is not shared with the Company — as well as interactions with the material (e.g. answers to questions). These features are used with the knowledge of the User, who is informed before accepting the Invitation; refusal to consent to the use of the camera may prevent participation in a given Session.

Artificially simulating attention is prohibited (e.g. automation, sharing a session with third parties, misrepresenting one's identity). A breach may result in refusal of payment for the Session concerned and in suspension or deletion of the account.

§9Rights and Obligations of the Parties

The Operator uses its best efforts to keep the Service operating properly and securely, but reserves the right to technical interruptions and to the development of and changes to its features. The Operator may suspend or delete a User's or Company's account in the event of a breach of the Terms or of the law.

The User is obliged to use the Service in accordance with the Terms, the law and good practice, and to respect the rights and data of other Users.

§10Liability

The Operator is not liable for the commercial decisions of Companies and Users, for the content of materials prepared by Companies, or for damage resulting from the provision of untrue information by a User or a Company. The Operator's liability towards Users who are not consumers is limited to actual damage and does not include lost profits, to the extent permitted by law. The provisions of this section do not exclude or limit consumers' rights arising from mandatory provisions of law.

§11Complaints

Complaints concerning the Service may be submitted to kontakt@paidfor.io. A complaint should include contact details and a description of the objections. The Operator considers a complaint within 14 days of its receipt and communicates the outcome to the e-mail address provided.

§12Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)

A consumer, as well as an entrepreneur with consumer rights, who has concluded a distance contract may withdraw from it without giving any reason within 14 days. Registration of a free account or sign-up to the Waitlist creates no financial obligations and may be cancelled at any time by deleting the account or unsubscribing. Detailed instructions on withdrawal are provided upon the conclusion of any paid contracts.

§13Personal Data

The rules for processing personal data, including the purposes, legal bases, retention periods and the rights of data subjects, are described in the Privacy Policy. The wording of the consents used and the GDPR information notice can be found on the Consents and GDPR Notice page.

§14Additional Industry Rules

The Operator may introduce Additional Industry Rules for selected categories of Campaigns or Sessions — in particular for the medical and pharmaceutical sector (the PaidFor MED module, governed by the PaidFor MED Terms). The Additional Industry Rules are made available to the User before acceptance of an Invitation covered by those rules, and to the Company before the conclusion of a contract concerning the Campaign.

To the extent not otherwise regulated, the Additional Industry Rules supplement these Terms; in the event of any discrepancy, the more stringent rules prevail.

§15Reporting Illegal Content

Illegal content may be reported to kontakt@paidfor.io. A report should include: identification of the content and of its location (URL), a statement of reasons, the reporter's contact details, and a declaration that the report is made in good faith. The Operator confirms receipt of the report, considers it with due diligence and communicates its decision; the decision may be appealed to the same address.

§16Final Provisions

The Operator may amend the Terms for important reasons (changes in the law, changes in the scope of services, security considerations). Users will be informed of amendments with reasonable advance notice and, in the case of registered accounts, by e-mail. Contracts concluded before an amendment remain governed by the previous wording of the Terms, unless the law provides otherwise.

In matters not regulated herein, Polish law applies. A consumer may use out-of-court complaint and redress procedures, in particular the assistance of a municipal or district consumer ombudsman, the Polish Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa), and entities authorised to resolve consumer disputes out of court. These Terms are effective as of 29 July 2026.
